Privacy Policy
How we process and protect your personal data, under North Macedonian data protection law (GDPR-aligned).
Last updated: 12 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Klucar Skopje (Bulevar Jane Sandanski 34, 1000 Skopje) processes personal data, in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection of the Republic of North Macedonia, which is harmonised with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Data controller
The data controller is Klucar Skopje, Bulevar Jane Sandanski 34, 1000 Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia.
For any question about your data, write to [email protected] or call 076 449 232.
2. What data we collect
We collect only the data you give us voluntarily so that we can arrange and carry out the service:
- Identification and contact data - name, phone number, and email address when you provide one.
- Job data - the address or location of the callout, the type of lock or vehicle, a description of the problem, and the agreed time.
- Billing data - amount, payment method, and what is needed to issue an invoice.
- Technical logs - records the server creates automatically when you visit, such as IP address and access time, for security and troubleshooting.
We do not ask for or collect data we do not need for the service, and we do not collect special categories of personal data.
3. Automated chat assistant
When the automated chat assistant is available on this site, its purpose is to answer questions about our services and to prepare your callout request.
In that case we process only what you choose to type into the conversation, together with the details you give in order to book - name, phone, location, service type and preferred time.
The conversation is sent to an external artificial intelligence provider in order to generate the reply, and is stored by us so that we can process the request and verify the booking is correct.
Please do not enter data into the chat that is not needed for the service - identity document numbers, payment card details, health data or other sensitive information. Every booking is confirmed by a person before a technician is dispatched.
4. Why we process it
- To arrange, schedule and carry out the locksmith service you requested.
- To contact you about the appointment, access to the location, and completion of the work.
- To issue an invoice and meet our tax and accounting obligations.
- For site security and prevention of misuse.
We do not use your data for profiling, nor for automated decision-making that produces legal effects for you.
5. Legal basis
Processing is based on steps taken at your request before entering into and while performing a service contract, on our legal obligation in respect of accounting and invoicing, on our legitimate interest in the security of the site, and on your consent where consent is required, such as for cookies.
6. Cookies
This site sets no analytics, tracking or marketing cookies without your prior consent. The detail is set out in our Cookie Policy.
7. Who we disclose data to
We do not sell your personal data and we do not pass it to third parties for marketing.
Data may be accessible only to: the technician attending your callout, our accounting service for invoicing, the hosting and communications providers that keep the site running, the artificial intelligence provider when you use the automated assistant, and the competent authorities where the law requires it.
We work with every processor under a contract binding them to confidentiality and to an equivalent level of protection.
8. Transfers outside the country
Some of the technical services we use, including hosting and the artificial intelligence service when the automated assistant is active, are located outside the Republic of North Macedonia, including in countries outside the European Economic Area.
In those cases the transfer is made with appropriate safeguards under the applicable law, including standard contractual clauses with the service provider.
9. Retention
Job data is kept for as long as the service lasts and for the warranty and legal periods connected to it.
Invoices and accounting records are kept for as long as tax and accounting legislation requires.
Transcripts of conversations with the automated assistant are kept for a maximum of 12 months, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
Technical server logs are kept briefly, within normal security retention periods.
10. Security
Access to data is limited to the people who need it to deliver the service. Communication with the site is protected by encryption (HTTPS), and access to our systems is protected by passwords and access control.
11. Your rights
You have the right of access to your data, rectification of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing and data portability, as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
Send your request to [email protected]. We reply within the period set by law, and no later than 30 days.
12. Supervisory authority
If you believe your rights have been infringed, you have the right to lodge a request with the Personal Data Protection Agency of the Republic of North Macedonia.
13. Changes to this policy
This policy may change if our services or legal requirements change. The current version and the date it was last updated are always published on this page.
