Who does the work

Klucar Skopje is run by Darko Ezias. The experience behind it was built over more than twenty years working in the United States, not from a short course.

There are two specialisations. The first is automotive key making and programming, including chip keys, remotes and smart systems. The second is commercial security and hardware, meaning locks, access systems and locking solutions for business premises.

The base is at Boulevard Jane Sandanski 34 in Aerodrom municipality, and the service is mobile across the whole city.

Why the American experience is relevant in Skopje

The United States moved to transponder keys and keyless systems earlier than this region, so the diagnostic side of the trade matured there sooner.

The practical consequence is that vehicles other locksmiths decline, particularly all keys lost cases, are jobs we take on. The work is done at the vehicle rather than at a dealership.

The same applies to commercial hardware, where master keying and access control are standard practice in the US market and still treated as unusual here.

How we work

You get the price on the phone before anyone sets off, and it does not change on arrival without your agreement. If the job turns out to be different from what was described, we stop and re-agree.

Non damaging opening is always attempted first. Drilling is a last resort, we ask before doing it, and it means the lock is replaced afterwards.

You will not see the word licensed on this site. North Macedonia has no state licensing scheme for locksmiths, so anyone advertising as a licensed locksmith here is misleading you.
